The
Government of India selected S.N.Khemka, chairman & managing
Director of the Ahmedabad based Growth Compusoft Exports Ltd, as one
of the recipients of this year's national awards for small scale
entrepreneurship. The awards was presented by Union Home Minister LK
Advani at a function held in New Delhi on August 30, 2001.
The 50 year old Mr.
Khemka, who has built the Rs 12 crore Growth Compusoft into one of
Gujarat's more successful information technology companies, is also
the President of the Gujarat Internet Service Providers Association
and Chairman of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
(IEEE), Gujarat Section.
The National Awards
for Small Scale Entrepreneurs has been instituted by the Union
Ministry of Small Scale Industry, where small industries are defined
as those with a capital investment of less than Rs. One Crore.
